The Learning Hub immersive reader tool allows for adaptative text and translation to help meet student needs. Follow the instructions below on how to access the immersive reader.
- To open the immersive reader while carrying out an Investigation, select the book icon
located in the top right corner. - In the immersive reader view, use the menu options located in the top right corner to configure different settings. Choose between Text Preferences, Grammar Options, and Reading Preferences.
- Determine preferred Voice Speed by selecting the Voice Settings menu located at the bottom of the page.
- Once all settings have been configured, press the Play button to start the reader.
- When you are ready to return to the Learning Hub, select the arrow
positioned in the top left-hand corner.
Bolded words can be selected to view illustrations to help comprehension
To use access the translation tool in the immersive reader, use the Reading Preferences settings to choose a language for the translation
