During the Peer Review process, students can notify their teacher if they are stuck on a task. Through this feature, teachers can choose to assign this task to another student and award extra engagement points or complete the task themselves.
- Select the notification indicating your student has selected the "Help, I'm stuck" button.
- Manage the notification by choosing one of three options
- Option 1- Choose the "Do Nothing" button. If your class has just started this investigation stage, you can have the student wait for responses from their classmates.
- Option 2- Assign the activity to another student. Assigning the activity to another student you can award the student additional engagement points. (As a part of the grading you will give each student an Engagement Rating for their efforts in the investigation. This rating is based on a point system so adding additional engagement points will boost that student's rating.)
- Option 3- Complete the activity yourself. By selecting the "Peer Review by Yourself" button you are providing the feedback your student needs to reflect upon and move forward in the investigation.
- Completing one of these options will send a notification to your student.
No matter the action the student will receive the same notification. "Please wait a few more minutes for peer reviews to be completed and refresh the page"
