"Help, I'm stuck" button feature

During the Peer Review process, students can notify their teacher if they are stuck on a task. Through this feature, teachers can choose to assign this task to another student and award extra engagement points or complete the task themselves.

  1. Select the notification indicating your student has selected the "Help, I'm stuck" button.
  2. Manage the notification by choosing one of three options
    1. Option 1- Choose the "Do Nothing" button. If your class has just started this investigation stage, you can have the student wait for responses from their classmates.
    2. Option 2- Assign the activity to another student. Assigning the activity to another student you can award the student additional engagement points. (As a part of the grading you will give each student an Engagement Rating for their efforts in the investigation. This rating is based on a point system so adding additional engagement points will boost that student's rating.)
    3. Option 3- Complete the activity yourself. By selecting the "Peer Review by Yourself" button you are providing the feedback your student needs to reflect upon and move forward in the investigation.
  3. Completing one of these options will send a notification to your student.

No matter the action the student will receive the same notification. "Please wait a few more minutes for peer reviews to be completed and refresh the page"
